1. Information we collect
SentryGate collects face-shot images, visitor details (name, company, purpose, host), staff and guard profiles (badge numbers, departments, shifts), vehicle registration plates, and entry/exit timestamps. In this demo, all data is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to any server.
2. How we use information
Collected data is used solely for premise-access management: verifying identity at entry, tracking on-site presence, matching vehicles to authorised personnel, and generating security logs. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling beyond security operations.
3. Data storage and security
In the current demo, images and records are saved as base64 strings in your browser’s localStorage. This keeps the demo self-contained and instant to try, but it also means data is tied to this browser and device. A production deployment would store data encrypted at rest on secured servers with role-based access controls.
4. Face-shot capture and consent
Face shots are captured via webcam or uploaded from file only after the subject is informed and consents. In a production environment, consent is recorded digitally at the point of capture. The demo uses your local camera stream — no video or image data is sent to remote servers.
5. Data retention and deletion
In the demo, data persists until you clear your browser’s localStorage or reset the demo from the app settings. A production deployment would enforce configurable retention periods and provide secure deletion workflows.
6. Third parties
This demo does not share data with third parties. The landing page is powered by SAMHA Services; their privacy practices are governed by their own policy at samhaservices.com.
